Religions OF THEDAS
Established by the Orlesian Empire, founded on the teachings of Andraste, the Chantry preaches the Chant of Light and the Maker's grace that can save all races from sin. They also enforce the control of mages through their Templars and the Circle of Magi.
Seven Draconic deities, primarily worshipped by Tevinter. Legend holds that it was the Old Gods who taught mages how to use magic, and that the Old God Dumat, Dragon of Silence, commanded the Darkspawn of the Blight.
Also known in Elven as the Evanuris, five gods and five goddesses makeup what the Dalish call 'the Creators'. The Elven Pantheon are not believed to have walked the mortal realm, nor directly challenge the Maker's existence.
Dwarves believe that they are the Children of the Stone, born of the earth itself. "She", or "the Stone", is venerated, but not worshipped necessarily as a god, but a living and shifting entity that surrounds and guides Dwarves.
