Bloodline functions off of the stories of the players. You decide the narrative flow to take up, and our staff team will enhance it.

Bloodline is a collaborative space to roleplay. Our staff are always eager to answer your tickets and help your creative vision come to life!

I. Player-Run Events

Player-Run Events are those that you, the player, organize and make function from start to finish. Examples include, but are not limited to, tournaments, feasts, festivals, theatre performances, training classes, or even common banditry.

You can open a Player-Run Event ticket through the Game Master ticket section. It can be done prior to or after running an event of your own. If you open it prior, we can post about it in our Side-Quests channel or post a rumor as you request to give a summary, date, and time for your event.

Player-Run Events require at least three others that are not in your clan to be in attendance for you and those involved in organizing and running it to be rewarded. The baseline for rewards is 4 Experience Tokens and 15 Silvers for each person with a responsibility in managing the event. The event's host gets 8 Experience Tokens and 30 Silver.

II. GM Story Tickets

Game Master Story Tickets can be opened under the Game Master ticket section. These are for events that require staff control, powers, and NPCs or enemies. Examples include, but are not limited to, clearing an area of Darkspawn, fending off a Bandit ambush, fighting a nest of Giant Spiders, going through a dungeon filled with puzzles, a journey through the Fade, or even a meeting with the greater powers of your aligned faction.

For opening a GM Story ticket and filling out the request template, a player will be given 2 XP. Even if the event cannot be made to happen, you will still be rewarded. Please, open that ticket and let our Game Masters help!

In opening a Game Master Story ticket, we request you fill out the following format:

Character Name: [Your Character Name]
Group Members: [Those able to participate in the event]

Date and Time: [What works for your group?]

Difficulty: [Casual, Normal, Hard, Nightmare]

Details: [Describe what you would like in as little or as much detail as you wish for the GM to work off of]

Your event can be as simple as bandits ambushing your group on the road, to as complex as Darkspawn tunneling beneath your group's builds and decimating it.

III. Difficulties

When you make a Game Master Story ticket, you have to request for a difficulty. A difficulty can be applied for any scenario. A bandit group can still be Nightmare difficulty, as they can be veterans in their craft. A Darkspawn group can still be Casual difficulty, as they can be wounded or simply Ghouls.

Casual

For those looking to have an introduction into the systems of Bloodline, or an easy going experience without worry of gear, skill levels, or intense strategy. This is for simply getting the group together and having a good time.

Regular Enemies: A little weaker than those participating

Elite Enemies: Minor buffs to AP, HP, Armor, and Damage

Puzzles/Skill Checks: Simple and little to no penalties

Group Recommendation: 3-6 Characters with minimal gear and only one or two skills over 70

Victory Reward Baseline: 3 Experience Tokens, 20 Silvers per person

Defeat Reward Baseline: 1 Experience Tokens, 5 Silvers per person

Normal

The typical difficulty. This is the standard. You can expect enemies to be equal to you, bosses to be tough, but fair, and thought provoking puzzles.

Regular Enemies: Equal to your group average

Elite Enemies: Medium buffs to AP, HP, Armor, and Damage

Puzzles/Skill Checks: Challenging and minor penalties

Group Recommendation: 6-10 Characters with fundamental gear and few skills over 70

Victory Reward Baseline: 6 Experience Tokens, 35 Silvers per person

Defeat Reward Baseline: 2 Experience Tokens, 15 Silvers per person

Hard

Kick it up a notch. The representation of struggle. This is where you truly stress test your build, your team, and whether you are up for a challenge.

Regular Enemies: Greater than your group average

Elite Enemies: Major buffs to AP, HP, Armor, and Damage

Puzzles/Skill Checks: Difficult and major penalties

Group Recommendation: 8-12 Characters with most gear slots filled and few skills over 80

Victory Reward Baseline: 9 Experience Tokens, 50 Silvers per person

Defeat Reward Baseline: 4 Experience Tokens, 25 Silvers per person

Nightmare

Remember, you chose this.

Regular Enemies: Substantially stronger than those participating

Elite Enemies: Immense buffs to AP, HP, Armor, and Damage

Puzzles/Skill Checks: Intensely crafted and debilitating penalties

Group Recommendation: 8-12 Characters with gear in each slot and multiple skills over 80

Victory Reward Baseline: 12 Experience Tokens, 65 Silvers per person

Defeat Reward Baseline: 6 Experience Tokens, 35 Silvers per person

You can be Killing Blowed on a Nightmare Difficulty event

IV. Server Events

At least once a month, but in the general timeframe of every 2-4 weeks, a Server Event will be appropriately posted in the server-events channel on the Discord and then held.

Server Events exist to push the narrative plot of a Book (Season) forward. Be it to highlight the importance of the Blight, bring tension between specific factions, or something else entirely. Server Events exist to give players an easy method of opening their own Game Master tickets afterwards to continue investigating, fighting, or looking into what a Server Event brought up - if they cannot find their own narratives to meaningfully pursue with a Game Master Story ticket.

All Server Events will have a Faction Source that indicates which Faction a character must be aligned with to attend the event. If it is listed as Freelancer, that means any player can attend.

Slots for Server Events are typically much greater, the scale grander. For this reason, no player is allowed to have more than fifteen accessories equipped while at a Server Event. If necessary, while a Server Event is running, the accessory limit for the server may be temporarily lowered to force this outcome.
