High in the Frostback Mountains, the barbaric Avvar dwell in wind-lashed holdfasts where clan honor and spirit-reverence guide everyday life. Their rugged independence and resilient nature mirrors the craggy peaks they call home.
In the sweeping green ocean of the Bannorn plains, the Clayne have defended their homeland from foreign invasion for centuries. Proud of their roots and of their independence, wars over fertile territories are a time-honored tradition.
Deep in the Korcari Wilds, the Chasind guard their boggy domain with wary defiance. Their hidden villages rely on craft and cunning to endure beasts, disease, and hostile neighbors. Their women mages, witches, lead their people with mystical insights.
Scattered bands of elven wanderers cling to fragments of Arlathan’s lost grandeur, roaming the wilds in search of hidden lore. In their travels, they safeguard old gods’ names, half-remembered rituals, and their freedom.
Beneath the mountain stone, dwarven strongholds stand as a testament to ancient craft and rigorous caste tradition. Trade with the surface endures, but the ever-present threat of Darkspawn shadows all halls. Few thaigs stand today.
A patchwork of young city-states lines the Waking Sea, where fertile fields and teeming rivers feed both commerce and conflict. Rivalries burn hot, yet no single power commands the burgeoning Marcher realm.
Settled behind sturdy walls, a handful of Kossith craft a communal life shaped by hard-earned cooperation. Though they lack widespread unity, their discipline and stoicism keep their isolated tribes alive. A rare sight, few even know of Kossith in the first place.
Over fertile lowlands and atop river-bluff strongholds, local dynasties ply trade and honor their cryptic funerary traditions. Stonework and practical might define these people.
